Ranan has been an active tech investor since 1999.
Most of his career has been with JG-Ventures, and he has taken this experience to help co-found Shefa Capital. During his 20-year tenure at JGV, Ranan was co-Managing Partner of the firm. JGV has a strong track record of investing in category-defining companies across a broad range of technology sectors, including: enterprise software, mobile applications, semiconductors, communications, and internet.
During this period, JGV made over 40 investments: 7 with $1B+ exits, 16+ M&As and 10+ IPOs. Before joining JGV, Ranan started his career as one of the first employees at software trading platform vendor Tradeum (sold to VerticalNet), and founded free space optics company, Roqiya Networks.
Moshe is an active investor with an entrepreneurial spirit. Prior to co-founding Shefa Capital, Moshe was the Managing Partner of Iberica Investments, a FO focused on Public and Private technology related investments and Chairman of Tantel Group - one of the most active Private Equity firms in Africa. Additionally, Moshe was a seed investor in several prolific fintech companies such as Oobit Technologies where he serves as Chairman and an early investor in FuboTV (NASDAQ: FUBO) Global Medical REIT (NYSE: GMRE) and Todos Medical (US: TOMDF) where he serves as a board member.
Daniel’s experience has been in building institutional quality asset managers to cater to the needs of professional investors. Daniel began his career at American Express, and then moved on to ING Furman Selz Asset Management (IFSAM). In 2003, Daniel joined JANA Partners LLC, an SEC Registered Investment Advisor managing several Event Driven hedge funds and Separately Managed Accounts for institutional investors. Daniel spent close to eight years at JANA Partners, and most recently as a Partner and Chief Operating Officer. During that period, as the fund grew from $600mm in assets under management to ultimately in excess of $8.5bn, Daniel successfully built out the infrastructure to manage JANA’s explosive growth and oversaw all business related activities of the firm both in the US and abroad. Daniel has served on an Advisory Board for the Sy Syms School of Business, as well as on the boards of a number of charities and institutions both in Israel and the US. Daniel has also spoken at Investment Management industry conferences. Daniel is a graduate of the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University.
